The Ribbon calendar has on the first page the route of The Ribbon and text about this project. There are pages for the twelve months of the year 1986, each with a print of the panel and the text that appears under the panel. The back of the calendar gives the Ribbon Vision Statement of August 4, 1985, where the proceeds from the sales of the calendar go, where they can be ordered from. The calendar has a plastic spiral binding at the top.
*Inscription on the cover of the calendar: The Ribbon/ 1986 Calendar/ "All priase to those who kive in peace."- Joanna Buck, Blain, Pennsylvania/ "What I cannot bear to think of as lost forever in a nuclear war."/ Edited by Sheryllee Lowe and Diane Wilkinson
