This silk satin stole is constructed from four separate pieces of textile. It has a white outer surface that is elaborately embroidered on both ends as well in the center. A red-edged golden cross decorates the back of the neck. Gold fringe adorns the ends. The inner surface is manufactured from two pieces of yellow silk satin. A gold tasseled cord with a gold slide secures the stole in place on the wearer. The stole tapers from its widest width along the bottom edges to a narrower neckline. It also curves slightly so as to lay flat on the neck and shoulders.
Stamped into the yellow satin at one end: "CATHOLIC CHAPLAINS FUND | ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE". On a label sewn into the other end of the stole: "(unreadable) Catholic Chaplain Fund". Stamped on a plastic label pasted on top of the previous label: "CCF I".
