This set is a box that is grooved on the inside to hold 12 dry plates in plates. The top of the wood box can be closed by a brass hook clasp. The bottom portion of the box is no longer attached to the main body. The dry plates are copper, but have been dipped in silver. They have deteriorated and rusted to the point that it is not clear if images were on the plates previously or not. Nothing is viewable at this point.
