Rectangular sack with flap closure. The flap has a zippered pocket . Eyelets line the top and a cotton draw cord is threaded into the eyelets for additional closure. Three large pockets with top flaps are sewn to the rear of the pack. Leather straps and brass buckles keep the flaps closed. The pack is attached to the tubular frame with a leather pocket at the top which fits over the frame. Woven canvas straps asr sewn to the bottom of the bag and are buckled to the bottom of the frame. Two wide woven cotton carrying straps are sewn to the top of the pack and thread throiugh the leather pocket and then buckled to the bottom of the frame. A wide woven strap is buckled to the wide bottom curve of the frame to hold the pack away from the wearer's back. The frame can be removed from the pack which can be used with or without the frame.
