Illustrated in the postcard lower left corner is a dog, might be a hunting dog, it is looking expectantly at the lady on the horse. The horse is white with front and opposite back leg raised in a prance. The tooled saddle is on top of a beautiful blanket. The lady is seated side-saddle. The dress has full short sleeves to the elbow, it looks like she is wearing gloves that go up to the bottom of the sleeve. The neck is "V" shape trimmed in lace on each side, a white insert attached to the dress goes to the top of her neck tied in the middle with three bows. She has long brown hair topped with a wide brimmed hat. On the right side standing on the cobblestone courtyard is a lady in black from her feet to the top of her head, the only think visible is her face. She too seems to be looking adoringly at the rider. The rider is entering through a stone arch, the background has trees and the sky.
