A panorama photograph of the landscape of Rattlesnake Canyon in Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness in Fruita, Mesa County, Colorado. The main focus is on a canyon arch and butte along the ridge to the left. Both the arch and the butte look to be from the same ridge but over time the water made them separate formations due to the the arch connecting to the butte to the right and the connection of the drainage path to the left. Pinon and juniper trees, as well as sagebrush, cover the opposite ridges and valley below. There are a few juniper trees growing by the arch and butte.
