This is a biface thinning flake of solid gray quartzite with very minor breaks on its distal end.
This biface was recovered from the property of the Ute Indian Museum in Montrose, Colorado. It was found during the repair of a sprinkler system. Archaeologists from the Office of the State Archaeologist did limited testing in the area where it was found in August 2015 but discovered no other archaeological material. Complete details of the survey can be found in "An Inventory and Test Excavation at the Ute Indian Museum, Montrose County, Colorado" by Kevin Black, on file in the Office of the State Archaeologist.
