Medal with a silver bar pin at the top with scroll and ray decoration. In relief on this metal piece is, "Cripple Creek Colo. / July 16th - 19th, 1901." Hanging from this bar pin is a plain yellow satin ribbon. Hanging from this ribbon is a quatrafoil shaped medallion (made of copper?). Piece has a central circle with a mountain scene and a train. Surrounding this scene is a beaded circle. On each of the four extensions of the circle is a mining or cabin scene. In relief surrounding the central scene is, "12th Annual Session Trans. - Mississippi / Commercial Congress." On the back of the medallion is the maker's information.
