Shoe is slide on, open toe, wood wedge heel, carved line design. Top has fabric that appears as to be woven, beads hand sewn in design across front of shoe. Sole is leather lined. Fabric label at instep.
The Whol Shoe Company (founded in the 1920s) was acquired by the Brown Shoe Company in 1950. Research found advertisements for Connie Lo-Healers dated 1948 and 1953. The design of these shoes (with wedge) appears to be 1945-1955.
