This is a custom-made Western-style cowboy boot for the left foot. It is made of cow leather. The vamp and foxing are a light brown color. A toe medallion is stitched in light brown thread into the top of the vamp. The shaft is mid-shin height and decorated with multi-layers of leather that has been collaged into a mountain landscape. A tall green leather pine tree is sewn into the length of both side seams. A purple, white, and yellow columbine adorns the front of the shaft, and the Colorado state flag adorns the backside. The range of mountains is constructed of layers of blue, yellow, white, and brown leather cut into jagged peaks and stitched onto a grey leather background. The top of the shaft is edged in blue piping. The heels are "walking heels".
Boots custom made for former Colorado Governor John A. Love who served two terms 1963-1973.
