Parquet Wood Floor Sample
Floor Samples from the Denver Hardwood Floor Company, 1880
This specific sample from the Denver Hardwood Floor Company is a square piece of wood flooring with a simple parquet design. The design is actually classified as a miniature parquetry design. The pattern most closely resembles the Versailles Pattern. There is a criss cross square pattern in the background with alternating squares in the foreground. There is a border of two dark wood lines, and then the rest of the border is block wood.
