Coiled basket lid with a flat top and straight short walls. Coils are made with bear grass. Stitches are done with yucca and are done with the regular close coil stitch. Some stitches are split. The coils have been pounded with a hammer or smooth stone to create the smooth, flat wall surface. The basket lid was started by taking two bundles of several strands and tying them into a knot from which the loose ends extend which were bended to the left and the coiling is then started by sewing this bundle to the knot. The basket lid has been decorated with designs in devil's claw and green dyed yucca. Lid has been decorated with 3 diagonal, stepped lines of which left side is green and the right is devil's claw.
