loose powder and ball or fixed percussion cartridge, originally 7 1/2", now 6 7/8", probably round barrel
Could be 1851 Navy or 1861 Navy. Still retains a lead bullet in two of the six chambers. This weapon had at least two loaded chambers when it was abandoned or lost.
Found in an Indian kiva on the Florida River near Durango, Colorado. Donated by Alvin Herbold.
