On the right are two men, on the left could be the foreman dressed in boots, tucked in pants, coat, hat, pointing towards mountains, man on right might be an investor, long pants, coat and regular hat. Behind these two men is a pile of coal or very black rocks, rocks line left side of tracks. A valley lies below this area, animals grazing on the right, few trees, further on in the middleground are probably farm houses, a road, forest on both sides as well as in front. Background are trees and another range of mountains.
