Article on the accusations made against and defense of Oscar L. Chapman, Secretary of the Interior under the Truman adminstration, from Kansas senator Andrew Schoeppel during the McCarthy Hearings of 1950. Chapman moved to Denver, Colorado, shortly after World War I and resided there until his appointment as Assistant Secretary of the Interior in 1933.
