Nebraska State Building, Omaha
View of the Nebraska Building during the Trans-Mississippi and International Exposition in Omaha (Douglas County), Nebraska. The temporary structure has a wooden frame with plaster of Paris and staff overlay. The building, designed by J.H. Craddock and John McDonald, is neo-classical Ionic style with a central dome. Two grand entrances have square towers on either side and pediments embellished with the state seal and statues. The four corners of the building are topped with smaller domes.
