Parquet Wood Floor Sample
Floor Samples from the Denver Hardwood Floor Company, 1880
This specific sample from the Denver Hardwood Floor Company is a square piece of wood flooring with a simple parquet design. The design is actually classified as a miniature parquetry design. The pattern most closely resembles the Monticello pattern. There is a dark wood border that creates a small geometric pattern with four squares in the lower left corner. The wood around the border is just a block pattern.
