This videotape documents the career and death of Alan Berg (1934-1984). Berg was an attorney and talk radio show host in Denver who was known for his confrontational interview style and liberal viewpoints. On the evening of June 18, 1984, he was fatally shot in the driveway of his Denver home by members of the white nationalist group, The Order. Alan Berg's life and death have been the subject of both a book and two motion picture films, "Betrayed" and "Talk Radio." The videos record Berg's television appearances and talk-shows, coverage of his death, and television appearances made by Judith Lee Berg about her ex-husband and his assassination. It should be noted that, while History Colorado will not own copyright to much of this material, this material be an invaluable research tool to anyone investigating Berg's life and death, as well as late twentieth-century white nationalism.
