Narrow Gauge Train to Silverton
2 16mm black-and-white films with no sound on cellulose acetate (safety) film stock. The film was made in 1962 by Blackhawk Films and depicts the Denver and Rio Grande Western's Durango to Silverton narrow-gauge railway. As the train snakes around the high curves, we see scenes shot from inside the train and from across the canyon. Also some shots from the head end of the locomotive as it creeps along the ledges. Both reels measure approximately 250 feet each, with an estimated run-time of 7 minutes each.
