Pond Garden, Hampton Court Palace
Illustrated in the postcard foreground is landscaping. A stone bath leads down the middle of the garden to a pond with what might be a large rock. There are two small evergreen trees on each side of the path and in front of them are two statues of which the one on the right appears to be a little girl angel and the right side a little boy angel or both are cherubs. A border of flowers is next and then two more small statues. The middleground has rows of flowers and paths on both sides with two toperys that look like chickens. The background is a statue of a lady in an arbor type of shelter and behind her is a hedge, trees and part of the palace with a few windows and tall shapes on the roof is visible, just a hint of clouds in the sky.
