This bolo tie is manufactured with a black, leather, braided cord that has silver tips in the shapes of feathers. The tips are bound to the cord with tan leather from which three strands of twisted leather are suspended. The ornamental clasp is bears a silver buffalo head attached to a human body. The clothing and accessories on the body are inlaid. There is a red shirt with 2 black armbands, one of which is fringed. There is a front mother of pearl shirt opening. The body has brown pants and is wearing moccasins that are red and black. The hands hold three feathers, a probable pipe and seems to be wearing a turquouise belt. On the back of the pendant the maker's name is stamped along with other words (see inscription).
