General Note: Part of the educational view collection. VHS. Not rated. Produced in association with Western History Department, Denver Public Library and Colorado Historical Society. Utilizing archival photographs, artifacts, works of art, live on-site footage, and live interviews with people connected to the park, you'll follow the development of Elitch Gardens from 1890 as Denver's first botanic garden, first zoo, first motion picture theater, and first amusement park to its' closing in the fall of 1994. Elitch's moved to the South Platte River Valley in the spring of 1995. No accession number.
