1899 Festival of Mountain & Plain Award Medal
This copper medal was awarded at the 1899 Festival of Mountain and Plain in Denver, Colorado. The obverse side features a woman sitting on the State Seal within a landscape that includes a covered wagon and a steam train on the plains with a mountainscape in the background. The reverse features two banners with inscriptions. The medal has a hole drilled through it along an edge.
