Foreground are two men on horseback. On the left riding a brown horse, cowboy wears a dark blue shirt, bolo tie around neck, jacket, full beard, large brim hat with small crown, probably wearing chaps, legs stretched straight ahead in stirrups, on his left the cowboy wears a different type of hat, flat crown and curled brim. This cowboy with full beard, red handkerchief around his neck, dark color shirt, jacket with fringe down sleeves and pants, behind his saddle is a red and white fringe blanket, feet in stirrup down on side of horse. Both men hold the reins in left hand. Horses have cast a blue shadow. Ground is dusty, only a dead looking plant along path on left. Behind the cowboys is a string of conestoga wagons being pulled by yoked oxen, man walking at side of oxen. Middle ground on the left side is another line of wagons. the cowboy walks along side while a cowboy on horesback rides on the other side. Background depicts two loose animals, one black, one white. A few adobe-looking buildings across the horizon, small portion of blue sky. Stretching across the top of the poster is a log, each end bound to a small piece of log hanging down. The two riders in front are a cut-out on seperate cardboard stapled to the bottom above the text. On the back of this cut-out is glued a triangle piece of cardboard with tab to be inserted into a slot to make the riders stand out. Back of poster are two seperate triangular pieces of cardboard that when opened and braced would allow the poster to stand alone. Bottom one inch front of poster folds to the back.
