Toaster is electric, plug being on the back bottom. Heating element is exposed in the middle of the machine. The doors on each side are operated with a small knob on the side, moving the knob to the left the slice of bread is inserted, toasted as the person wanted and then same knob moves the bread to toast the other side. There is no drawer to catch the crumbs. Toaster platform has four black wheels probably to move the machine around on the table, wheels do not turn. Top has cut-out designs on each end, middle sides are curved in to pick the toaster up.
