This round metal button has an exposed metal backing and standard C-type pin closure. The face of the button has a navy blue background with images and text in light gray, which is protected by a clear piece of thin plastic material. The text and image on the front of the button are printed in light gray. Along the top center curve of the button is the word "LINCOLN" and along the bottom curve is the word "LANCERS." The center image is of a man in full medieval armor wearing a cape, and holding a lancet while astride a galloping horse that is also wearing medieval jousting attire.
Donation by Caitlin R. Rumery; her mother Stephanie Marie Cornelius Schwartz passed away in 2009 leaving Caitlin with five generations of stuff from her Colorado Family history. There is much more information on the family in the accession file. Adah and Eugene Lobach owned the Lobach Hardware Store in the historic Windsor Hotel, downtown Denver.
