Black and white Denver Post press photograph depicting members of the Service Employees International Union (AFL-CIO) at the intersection of 17th and California protesting working conditions in downtown office buildings, Denver, Colorado, dated February 6, 1986. At issue was a cut in hours and an increase workloads. In the photograph, the faces of the protesting janitors are obscured by the signs they carry. The signs read: "Justice for janitors!", "Stop corporate greed", "Justice + Equality + Dignity [portion missing]" and "We want our hours back".
