A photograph of Iceberg Lakes, an alpine lake high in the mountain in a bowl in Gilpin County, Colorado. The lake is surrounded by rocks and foothills of the mountain looming over it. There is a ice/glacier sheet in the lake, with some ice in "islands but connected to the main sheet. This gives the lake its name and the shelf looks like a claw or hook. There are several snow sheets leading into the lake on a few different sides. There is a body of water at the far end of the lake that might be a creek.

Fog enters from above, trying to cover the lake.
A photograph of the Iceberg Lakes, looking down the mountainside in Gilpin County, Colorado. The lakes are surrounded by grasses and boulders, with evergreen trees surrounding the third and furtherest lake. The sky is hazy, and it almost covers the trees. While the second and third lakes are whitish, the first lake reflects the hazy sky and a light blue sky.
A photograph of one of the Iceberg Lakes or a nearby alpine lake in Gilpin County, Colorado. The lake is inside and surrounded by an ice shelf that is quite dirty. The dirt inside the otherwise clear water could be from the mud or pollution. One rock is on top of the snow.
