Illustrated in the postcard is a view of the Court of Musee of the Louvre. In the foreground are two very large pentagonal shape. A wide walk-way is between these shapes, street lights are spaced around, there is an L shape grass at the top of the pentagon to the left. Men, women and two scholars in their caps and gowns are walking to, from and past the bulding. The middleground is the Louvre itself and would appear to be in an "L" shape, the main entrance being to the right of the postcard. Three arches appear to be the entrances, however to the right and left of the arches are double doors, four more like these are on the left side of the building. Large windows curved at the top are all along the building, windows are covered with grill work. Middleground is the second floor of the museum. Above the three arches is large window curved at the top, sixteen panes of glass on the bottom and fan shaped panes around the curve. Two small windows on each side have eight panes each and a shade in the middle. Windows are rectanglur shaped some with drawn shades, none are covered with grill work. Third floor appears to have a walk-way running around it, a railing can be seen, the two visible doors have two columns on each side. Again the window above the arches and second floor is the same with a covering over the indise of the window. The roof is probably flat, a railing is around it and at the top right a man stands looking down. Buildings can be seen beyond this one.
