Lithograph top left Ore Dressing Room, depicts a large tub of water with moving arms looking like rakes, two men on the right possibly shoveling ore into this bath, pullys are on poles and across the top of the ceiling, other men in the background appear to be working at the same thing. Window on right and left side, with a door on right and door at back of room. This "dressing room" is the series processes used to separate ore from waste material to make it ready to sell. Lithograph top right A man dressed in business attire pointing with his left arm probably explaining to two ladies ,long full gowns, hats, shawls, what the men in the distance are doing. First man has a long rod poking it into lava that is coming from inside the furnace, it is running down in a stream. Bottom left lithograph is the Cupel Furnace. Large furnaces are seen with a brick one on the right, a man is stoking the fire in a door, shovels leaning against the brick wall. Last lighograph on bottom right is a Scotch Hearth, a cast iron box about two square feet by one foot high, chimney is twn feet wide at base and thirty to thirty-five feet high. The fire must be hot enough so lead melts.
