This pair of child's moccasins is manufactured from commercially tanned leather (probably deerskin). The sole is soft and constructed of the same material. Leather lacing runs through slits in the ankle flaps. The tongue is separate and the heel is seamed. The vamp and the edge of the ankle flaps on each moccasin are beaded. The pattern on the vamps is comprised of a white background. Then there is a symmetrical design of predominantly yellow beads bordered with orange, red and green beads. That pattern is three inverted and connected triangles. The border pattern is a repeating geometric pattern of triangles (tipis) composed of yellow, green, orange and red beads. The ankle flaps have are edged in a white bead border.
