This is a 5-1/2' perforated lance tooth two-man crosscut saw. This type is used for felling purposes (as opposed to bucking). It has a concave back. The teeth are in an arch. There is one wood handle at each end. In addition to the saw, there is a handmade wooden blade sheath constructed from two 1x4 inch planks of pine that are spaced just wide enough apart for the saw blade to slide in between. The two planks are attached along the bottom length with another strip of wood.
