This box is manufactured from pine. The wood has been stained and there are several shipping labels glued and/or tacked to the outer surface. The object resembles a tool box with its hinged lid, cast iron handle mounted on the top of the lid, and two hinged box lock plates and hasps mounted on the front. The inside is padded with squares of thick orange felt.
This object was from Aultman Studio materials found at the A. R. Mitchell Museum in Trinidad, Colorado and transferred to History Colorado in 2008. Prior to that the wooden boxes were used by the Trinidad Camera Club including Oliver Aultman and possibly Otis Aultman.
