There are four, hollow deer phalanges strung onto a metal pin. The top of the pin is spiraled. Three phalanges have four rows of four holes drilled into them. The fourth has three rows of four and one of six holes. One buckskin thong is threaded along the metal pin inside the phalanges. One row of beadwork is looped through the top and bottom holes of each phalange, in yellow, blue, white, and green. There is one red bead in the beadwork of the top phalange. A beaded tassel is attached to the buckskin thong that emerges from the lower phalange. Beadwork is blue, pink, and faceted brown. The beadwork appears to use sinew string, but there is also a band of brown thread wound around the tassel.
