This souvenir type plaque with wood burned lines around the edges and on the surface holds a color image, lithograph, of five Shoshone Indians, one in the center with a headdress and the others with hads. A leather thong is tied through holes at the top to form a hanger.
On March 16, 2015 during a NAGPRA collections review, designated tribal representatives from the three Ute tribes informed History Colorado staff that the photograph appears to be a postcard that has been trimmed down.
