11/04/2014 Jori Johnson. This adapter ring box is part of a larger accession of personal items donated by Fred Payne Clatworthy. According to notes on the accession sheet, Clatworthy moved to Estes Park 1904 after visiting often and taking photo's of the land. He was one of the first photographer's to produce prints in color, by perfecting the process of auto chrome. His photography work spanned almost 50 years and most of the first half of the 20th century.
