Set was originally associated with Clyde Stanley and his store. However, a closer look shows that .2 in the set was mailed to Robin Oram in New Raymer, Colorado. Robin was Auriel's nickname. Because the envelope was addressed to Robin Oram and because the four-cent stamp on the envelope was a Taft, the envelope dates between 1930 and 1946 (The four cent Taft stamp was first issued in 1930 and Auriel was married in 1946. The designs and patterns of the wallpaper date to circa 1945 - 1946. It is possible Auriel ordered these for her new home after marriage and hung on to them for design ideas. A closer look at each sample shows that some were stapled, some have page numbers in the center, some at the left and some at the right indicating that this is not an original set. (Auriel saved these together as a mixed set.) As a result of looking at the items in this set, it is likely that some were from Stanley's store, and some were saved by Auriel, and later the pieces were stored and kept together in the box.
