General Note: Part of the CWA Pioneer Interviews Collection. Consists of a biographical sketch of Thomas Blamey, an early day resident of Routt County, Colorado. Born in England, Blamey came to Illinois in the 1860s. In 1881 he and his wife came to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he took up a land claim previously owned by his brother in law. Much of this document details his experiences as a postal carrier in the early days of Routt County.
