Description

Color 16mm silent film stock footage reel shot on cellulose acetate film depicting The Sports Parade produced by Castle Films. The film has not been reviewed (as of 7/16/2015) but according to labels on the canister it depicts the July 21, 1927 boxing match between Jack Dempsey and Jack Sharkey at Yankee Stadium in New York, N.Y. It may also depict the match between Joe Louis and Jim Braddock on June 22, 1936 at Comiskey Park in Chicago, Ill. This film is approximately 300 ft. in length.
