General Note: Part of the CWA Pioneer Interviews Collection. Consists of a brief biographical account of Pedro "Pete" Trujillo, an early-day resident of Medano Springs, Colorado. Trujillo's father, Teofilo, helped to establish the settlement of Medano Springs in the San Luis Valley in the 1860s. Introducing sheep into the region, he was forced to move on to the town of San Luis after a number of cattle men in the vicinity killed the major portion of his herd. Shortly after, his son Pedro moved to Monte Vista, Colorado. Not much biographical information is included in this document.
