Bar Harbor style wicker armchair with reversible seat and back cushions.
Chair came from the sun room on the southeast corner of the Pearce-McAllister Cottage at1880 Gaylord Street.
Chair has no label or tag, but most closely resembles the Bar Harbor chair found on linemade by might have been made by the Heywood-Wakefield Company.
The sun room was an addition to the house in or after 1924 when Mrs. McAllister remodeled the first floor. The Bar Harbor style chair may have been purchased at that time, but could also have been used earlier on the house's front porch. It might also have been furniture brought from the McAllister's Colorado Springs house at 1231 N. Nevada Avenue.
