This photograph was taken at Vermillion Ranch in the Western Slope Region, Maybell, Moffat County, Colorado. Green River runs through the center of the photo with low banks covered in grasses and some trees on either side. There is a mountain range in the background. It is sunset.

This photograph can be seen in John Fielder's book Ranches of Colorado on page 189.
