This is a blue-background nylon flag with a white seamed hoist edge. There is white inscription running along the head on both sides. In the center of the fly is a white background circular canton with red inscription around the edge and imagery in the center (see Subject and Inscription).
On both sides in white across the head: "SOUTHERN UTE INDIAN TRIBE". Inside the canton in black-bordered red print: "GREAT SEAL OF THE SOUTHERN UTE INDIAN TRIBE | IGNACIO, COLO." On a tag sewn into the hoist edge: "The 'FlagSource' (r)" | MADE IN U.S.A. | 95% NYLON | 5% OTHER | MATERIALS".
