This silver and gold crown is decorated with rhinestones and amber. There are sixteen amber stones mounted around the silver base. Extending upward from around the rim of the base are four fleur-de-lis. A single large amber stone is mounted on the front of the fleur-de-lis that would be the front of the crown. It is edged with rhinestones. Six silver stems with rhinestones mounted at their tips also sprout from this fleur-del-lis. Each of the four fleur-de-lis have rhinestones mounted on them. Mounted at the top of each , and curving inward to meet together in the center are decorative floral patterned gold extensions. There are eight rhinestones mounted separately on silver wire that sprout from the top of the crown.
Inside bottom rim: "Mary Louise Malone, Queen of Mountain and Plains Festival Denver, Colo. 1901".
