The Museum of Memory is a public history initiative at History Colorado that collaborates with Colorado communities to co-author a shared state historical record through community-based memory projects. These efforts utilize the involvement of residents, community-based organizations, and school districts to support their telling, collecting, sharing, and preservation of community stories. This collection consists of digital image files obtained during Museum of Memory scanning day events held on March 20, 2021 and May 10, 2021. These events welcomed past and present residents of the Five Points area of Denver to have their family collections scanned and preserved for posterity in History Colorado’s collections. There are 5 main series to the collection, each representing different families from the area from the 1940s to the 1970s.
