The Pizzelle Iron is black and silver in color. The iron has some discoloration and has an inscription and hinge. The inscription is "VITANTONIO MFG.CO." and " CLEVELAND 6, OHIO" and " No. 1", it is only on one side of the iron. The outside of the plates has tiny circular holes covering the entire outside except where the inscription is. The inside design of the plates has two patterns, one for each plate. One plates has the geometric design of diamonds. There are two large diamonds overlaping each other in the center and an imprint of a leaf in the center of the large diamonds . Surrounding the large diamonds are smalller diamonds with little imprints of flowers in the center of each. The other plates has a large rectangle in the center with a man and a woman toasting each other with a glass of wine. Surrounding the large rectangle is small squares with tiny imprints of flowers in the center of each. The handles are black and made of iron.
