This is a large single walrus tusk that has been broken into two pieces. It has engraved decorations of various scenes. On the side witht the holes is an etching of an eskimo trying to catch a caribou. There is also a scene with two Eskimos ice fishing with spear and net. In between two rows of holes are three walruses and an Eskimo in a kayak holding a line attached a harpoon, which has been thrown into a walrus. In between ten-hole sets are etchings of seals, leafs, and a nest with eggs in it. The other side shows meat and kayak storage, a dwelling, a sled, and two unidentified objects. The engraving is enhanced with black ink.
