Digital copy of a film negative taken by photographer Juan Espinosa in March 1973, following the bombing of the building housing the Crusade for Justice, a Chicano civil rights organization, at 1547 Downing Street in Denver, Colorado on March 17th. The image shows four unidentified people standing outside the damaged walls of the building and graffiti on the wall that reads, "Que Viva Junior Martinez / Luis / We are not beaten and we do not intend to be beaten or driven as such... what has happened here is but the sound before the fury of those who are oppressed." The graffiti refers to Crusade member, who was killed during the skirmish with Denver police that led to the bombing of the building.
