Collection consists of correspondence and other material relating to Lynn Helton, a Colorado poet who died of bone cancer in 1971. As a legacy to her infant daughter she recorded on tape a number of her poems. One of her most famous poems, "Sunshine On my Shoulders", was later made into a hit song by the musician and singer John Denver. Two television movies were also made on her life.
