General Note: Part of the CWA Pioneer Interviews Collection. Please note the interview is misidentified as PAM 362-18B on the first page of the interview itself. Consists of a biographical sketch of Henry W. Jones, an early day resident of Huerfano County, Colorado. Born in Maryland in 1818, Jones came to present-day Huerfano County in 1865 where he established a ranch near present-day Walsenburg. Almost all of this document consists of Jones's wife, identified as E.Y. Jones, recalling the hardships of their life in the region during the 1860s. E.Y. Jones was the daughter of Albert Gallatin Boone and the granddaughter of Daniel Boone.
